Trouble Shooting
I am not able to import contacts?
Prior to uploading contacts onto CAMP, it is imperative to adhere to the following data integrity checks:
1.CSV Format Validation:
- Verify that the contact database is stored in CSV format before initiating the import process in CAMP.
2.Character Encoding Standardization:
- In the event of non-English language contact details, such as Turkish or any other language, it is crucial to save the CSV file using UTF-8 encoding prior to uploading it to CAMP.
3.Data Purity Assurance:
- Ensure the absence of special characters, images, extra spaces, and additional commas within the CSV file to maintain data integrity during the import process.
4.Stage Limitation Compliance:
- Take note that CAMP permits the import of contacts without stages. Attempting to import contacts with associated stages will result in disallowance by the system.
5.Optimal Import Methodology:
- If the contact database comprises more than 5,000 contacts, it is recommended to utilize the "import in background" option rather than the "import in browser" method when importing contacts into CAMP. This ensures efficient processing and minimizes potential browser-related constraints.
These guidelines are essential to guarantee a smooth and error-free import process, enhancing the overall reliability of the contact database within the CAMP platform.
I executed a campaign, but emails are not going to contacts
Follow the below steps to ensure the contact email ID and sender email is verified.
1.Active Email Configuration:
- Ensure the configured Email ID on CAMP is an active account capable of sending/receiving emails.
2.Password Authentication:
- Validate the email configuration by confirming the password provided during CAMP provisioning/subscription. If changed, share the updated password for authentication.
3.Email Template Publication:
- Verify the publication of the email template on CAMP before executing any Campaign.
4.Contact Details Mapping:
- Appropriately map all contact details to the relevant fields on CAMP. Confirm correct mapping of contact emails to the "Email" field, not "Company Email." Verify imported contacts for accurate mapping.
5.Advanced Email Settings:
Navigate to Channels -> Emails -> Edit -> Email Header in CAMP. In the "From Address" field, leave it blank or populate with an authorized email for marketing campaigns.
6.Sending from a Different Email:
- For using a different email address in CAMP, request Camp Support to grant necessary rights on the mailbox for sending on behalf. Example: If default is support@campautomation.com, and for a specific campaign, you want support@example.com, use the advanced tab to define "From Address" as support@example.com. Ensure Camp Support grants necessary rights for on-behalf sending.
Note:
Sending on behalf feature is available only with Office 365. Verify with your IT Administrator for other email service providers, as setup processes may vary. Always consult before updating email addresses in CAMP.
When I clicked "Unsubscribe" button present on the email it says "Record not found
Please check if the specific text "{unsubscribe_text}" is in your email design. You'll see this error only if you send a test email to someone using the "Send Example" feature.
To make sure people can easily unsubscribe, you need to send them an email using the "Send Email" option in the contacts section. When they get the email, they can click on the unsubscribe button to go to the right page.
Below, there's a screenshot showing the unsubscribe text you should use in the email.
